METAS is a leading brand and supplier of STEM educational products. The company is based in the Hong Kong Science Park. We design our toys in house with curriculum integrating with science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Set up in 2014, with offices in Hong Kong and China, we pride ourselves in designing and developing a compelling range of unique educational products for the STEM education ecosystem.
METAS offers a range of retail products for children from ages 6 -12 using out I/O Bits, which are intelligent electronic modules that can easily be connected together by magnets to form simple circuits. These toys are used to inspire and motivate children to “think outside the box” innovatively and create their imaginary world.
Additionally, our educational products are made to have a positive impact on students of STEM education. This is especially so for students in the age group between 4 – 12. Our emphasis is to stimulate students’ interest and curiosity and especially for older students socio-scientific issues.
Our vision is to collaborate with STEM educators, schools and the Ministry of Education to utilise our game-changing METAS educational products to be integrated as part of the school curriculum and/or after school activities.
The company, dedicated to developing and promoting educational toys in Hong Kong and the Mainland, brings good social value to both the educational sector and to the general public. It develops a broad range of children-safe and reusable products which are easy for even primary students to learn, DIY and play.
More importantly, the children can be inspired and motivated to think innovatively. It is believed that by collaborating with more primary and secondary schools in both Hong Kong and the Mainland, the company should have great potential to grow further.
