Get started
NodeOne is a microcontroller board developed by METAS. This board can be worked with Arduino Nano, ESP8266 and so on. It has 2 output pins, 2 input pins, 2 motor pins, 4 servo pins and one I2C pin (As shown below).
In this document, we focus on ESP8266 which is a wifi module. It means that we can control those pins by wifi communication (Internet).

NodeOne update Version
Update your Metas NodeOne with the latest Operating System(OS). OS updates are free and will fix bugs or add new functionality.
What’ s new in OS version 1. 3
*Fixed bug in reboot issue
*More easy to setup NodeOne
*Other minor code tidy ups
NodeOne OS update (Window only)
1. Download and install the driver.
2. Download upgrade tool (Esplorer).
3. Download the latest OS.
4. Connect the NodeOne with your computer.
5. Open Esplorer and format the NodeOne.
6. Upload the latest OS to NodeOne.
If you are having difficulty in updating OS. Please refer the Youtube video below. If the problem still persists please email us.

Note for charging (NodeOne v1.3)
1. If NodeOne is out of battery, the red light will be turned on.
2. Connect the charging wire. When it is charging, the of the charging wire will be turned on.
3. Normal charging time is around 45 minutes.
4. If it is fully charged, red light of the charging wire will be turned off.
5. Normal operation time for NodeOne is around 1 - 1.5 hour.
Attention:
1. It is necessary that user should use METAS charging wire. (Figure 1)
2. For the USB interface, it can only be used for updating OS but not for charging.
3. If the NodeOne is used in more than 1 hour, the only charging wire can be used is METAS charging wire. (Figure 1)
4. Do not connect the USB wire and charging wire at the same time. (Figure 2)
5. Don’t overlap more than one NodeOne when it is charging.
